Are you a First Time College Freshman?
Starting college can be a scary time, but we want to help calm your nerves. If you follow the simple steps below, your application process is sure to be painless.
-
Complete your application online or print a hard copy to send by mail. (The paper version has a $25 application fee, which is waived if you apply online instead.)
-
Complete and return the student personal statement form. You can submit your form online or download a PDF of the form to send in via mail. Essays are used to assess writing abilities and are graded for content.
-
Provide official high school transcripts –- don’t worry, we do early admission for high school seniors, so a partial transcript that shows completion of at least 7 semesters will be fine until you graduate. Click here for more details on requesting transcripts.
-
ACT and/or SAT scores

Applicants to some departments must take the math placement test or present transfer credit that meets the math core requirement before the file can be reviewed by the department and the admission committee.
