Goal: To reduce the number of manual corrections made by the Registrar’s office after the online registration period is over. To increase the level of student satisfaction with the online registration process.

Goal: To oversee the implementation of the new governance system that began in January of 2008, and to evaluate whether it is accomplishing the desired outcomes of 1) improving communication about governance issues; 2) uniting the policy and operations sides of our institution in decision making; 3) giving a voice, as appropriate, to all who are affected by a policy or initiative; and 4) increasing the efficiency of decision making.

Goal: Design a process for assessing institutional outcomes by focusing on one outcome, Critical Thinking.

Assessment of institutional outcome - Ethical Behavior Project leader: Daryll Ward

Goal: This project focuses on learning to assess the College’s institutional outcome “Ethical Behavior,” to include the following key aspects:

  • Reach consensus among faculty about the meaning of ethical behavior within the different professional contexts of our various degrees/majors.
  • Determine what aspects of ethical behavior can be effectively and reliably measured.
  • Decide upon a repeatable method for assessing ethical behavior.
  • Implement and evaluate the assessment process.
  • Summarize what has been learned from this project to help inform other assessment activities.
