National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) —
The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) is responsible for the specialized accreditation of nursing education programs (Clinical Doctorate, Master's, Baccalaureate, Associate, Diploma, and Practical programs). The Commission has authority and accountability for carrying out the responsibilities inherent in the applicaiton of standards and criteria, accreditation processes, and the affairs, management, policy-making, and general administration of the NLNAC. The NLNAC is nationally recognized as a specialized accrediting agency for both post-secondary and higher degree programs in nursing education.

Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) —
"The mission of the Ohio Board of Nursing is to actively promote and protect the health of the citizens of Ohio through the safe and effective practice of nursing as defined by law" (OBN Website).

American Nurses Association (ANA) —
"The American Nurses Association is a full-service professional organization representing the nation's 2.6 million Registered Nurses through its 54 constituent state associations and 13 organizational affiliate members. ANA advances the nursing profession by fostering high standards of nursing practice, promoting the economic and general welfare of nurses in the workplace, projecting a positive and realistic view of nursing, and by lobbying the Congress and regulatory agencies on health care issues affecting nurses and the public" (ANA Website).

Ohio Nurses Association (ONA) —
"The Ohio Nurses Association is the professional organization for Ohio's registered nurses. It was organized in 1904 to secure a nurse practice act to protect the citizens of Ohio. For nearly 100 years it has been promoting and protecting nurses, the nursing profession, and those who receive nursing care. ONA's Headquarters are in the Dorothy A.
