Verification Information
Some students will have their FAFSA information selected for a process called verification. This means that the Financial Aid Office must determine the accuracy of the data you reported on your FAFSA.
If your Student Aid Report indicates that you have been selected for verification, or if the Financial Aid Office sends notification that you have been selected for verification, you will need to submit the following initial documentation:
Independent Students
-
Student's tax transcript from IRS (see www.irs.gov or call 1-800-829-1040)
-
Spouse's (if married) tax transcript from IRS (see www.irs.gov or call 1-800-829-1040)
-
Student's W-2s
-
Spouse's W-2s (if married)
Dependent Students

-

Non-Tax Filers
If you, a parent or a spouse did not file an income tax return then a Non-Tax Filer Form must be submitted by the non-tax filer.
**Please remember that we will not award your financial aid package until your verification is complete, so the sooner you submit the necessary documentation, the quicker we can process your financial aid award**
