Where are campus computers available?
The Computer Lab is located on the main level of the Boonshoft building. The Lab is open all hours except 4 p.m. Friday to 9 p.m. Saturday and provides the following:
Microsoft Office 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access).
Various programs that your professor may use in your courses.
- Duplex printing in both black and white and color (charged per page).
Note: The lab computers do not have floppy disk or CD/DVD drives. Students must save work to an external resource such as a USB flash drive or the SkyDrive. USB flash drives are sold in the Bookstore.
Some academic departments also have computer systems in their labs for use by instructors and program students.
The Learning Commons has computers that have the same capabilities of those in the main lab; however, students also can access OhioLINK, LexisNexis, MEDLINE and other online reference sites. The Learning Commons computers provide access to:
OhioLINK: This resource allows you to borrow materials from most Ohio college and university libraries.
Databases (more than 80) such as:
- Academic Search Complete
- CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature)
- Cochrane Library
Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Library
